Hello, I'm Dan Hazelton. Nearly two months ago, I was rushed to a Private Hospital in Costa Rica with severe vomiting and abdominal pain, which led to an emergency surgery for a blockage in my small intestine. Since then, my recovery has been filled with complications, and another surgery, and dealing with acute kidney failure. I've spent the past two months unable to work. In the middle of July I was medically evacuated back to Florida, and am presently in the hospital, where I will need to remain for another two months, before I can have a final surgery to hopefully put me back together again. To make matters worse I'm not covered by insurance.

During this time, my home and business were broken into, and I lost many valuable tools, equipment, and possessions, adding to the immense challenges my family and I are facing. My wife, Paula, who is expecting our son in November, has been my rock through this ordeal, but our bills have grown beyond what we can manage alone.

I never imagined I would find myself in a position to ask for help, but the reality is that we need support. Any contribution would mean the world to us as we navigate this difficult journey.
