Many of you may know and recognize this face. Unfortunately, Alyssa Riddles has been diagnosed with Stage 3, Grade 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (Breast Cancer). A recent MRI has shown that there are several “satellite masses” around the tumor that is measuring 5.2 cm, masses found in her lymph nodes (not cancerous), and 2 other masses on her other breast. Alyssa has also tested positive for the BRCA 1 Gene, a very aggressive gene, that could also lead to ovarian, pancreatic, and/or skin cancer.

Alyssa worked for The Nodding Donkey in Uptown for almost five years. She later went to E Bar. Alyssa has grown to be family with so many in the service industry. Our hearts are broken and we have decided to do what we do best by coming together as one.

We invite you all to join us on Thursday, October 8th where a fundraising event will be held specifically for our girl! 50% of all profits of the entire day will go to her, all tips of the entire day will go to her, and to top it off we have been blessed with some awesome sponsors who have graciously poured out their love for her.

It is going to be a long road ahead for Alyssa with approximately 20 weeks of aggressive chemo, a double mastectomy, 3 to 6 weeks of radiation, and then reconstructive surgery once she has healed.

If you know Alyssa, you know she is truly one of a kind. She is compassionate in everything she does, loyal, charismatic, down to earth, most of all beautiful inside and out. She is going through the fight of her life. We want her to know and want to show her that we are here to fight with her every step of the way.
