Let's Help Alicia Beat Cancer
Donation protected
In early September, Alicia Bedard received news that she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Alicia is a wonderful mother to 4 sweet young boys. With a great team of doctors, Alicia has a treatment plan set out in front of her. With numerous appointments, chemo, surgery, and radiation ahead of her, the bills are quickly mounting.
Let's help Alicia focus on what's most important, her health and spending time with her family...and kicking cancer's butt!!!
The treatment plan is going to be a long road. She will start her treatment plan on Sept. 17th. Her plan will begin with chemo for 12 weeks. She is part of a clinical trial that focuses entirely on this type of breast cancer. During her weekly trip for chemo to Dana Farber, they will be monitoring the progress of tumor shrinkage, monitor her organ functions, and immunity response. When she is done the 12 weeks of chemo which will be mid December, she will have a little break to prepare for her mastectomy which will be probably in January. The doctor's will then decide if she needs another round of chemo for an additional 8 weeks. Hopefully not! If she doesn't, she will then begin radiation therapy. Radiation will be for many weeks. It will involve going for radiation 5 days a week for the amount of weeks needed.
Please share and help spread the word through email and social media. Any donation would make a world of difference and would go such a long way in Alicia's road to recovery. Thank you for all of your support, Alicia and her family appreciate it very much!
