Hello, everyone! My name is Janette Howell and I'm starting this page on behalf of my aunt, Alice Bryant (Jerry), who is battling Stage 4 breast cancer that has also spread to the spine and hip. Those who know my aunt know that she is a kind-hearted, hard working, and independent woman. So, this situation hasn't been easy for her.

Alice was diagnosed on April 29, 2021, and completed her first chemo treatment on June 4, 2021. She was hospitalized this past week due to complications with the chemo therapy. Due to numerous doctor's appointments and hospital stays, she has been missing a lot of days of work without pay and her copays and bills are starting to add up. My family and I want my Aunt Alice to have a full recovery without stressing over how to pay for treatment and bills, so we are reaching out to those who would like to help her in this journey.

Alice has always helped others in her lifetime including family members, friends, and community by working for 13 years in Social Services--and now it's time to pay it forward and help her! Every little bit helps.

For those of you who would like to get to know Alice, she grew up in Ulster County, New York, and graduated from Rondout Valley High School , Class of '92. While at RVHS, she belonged to the French Club. Alice later graduated from Ulster County Community College (SUNY Ulster), in 2006, with an Associate's in Criminal Justice and then from University at Albany (SUNY) in 2008 with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Law. Alice is a member Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society. She lived in Ulster County for 37 years and recently moved to North Carolina.

While she doesn't have any children, she is a wonderful aunt to over 30 nieces and nephews who want to see her fight and spend time with her for as long as possible. Would you please join and help her fight?
