Let's Help Abuela Walk - Ayudemos a la Abuela

Hi, my name is Mayuri Flores de Vilchez.

 

My siblings and I are raising money to help pay for our Mom's femur surgery. Her name is Maria Aida Muñoz de Flores, and she is 88 years old and full of life. She fell on January 3rd and broke her femur at hip level. Right now she is in bed, immobilized, unable to walk again  unless she undergoes surgery. 

 

 

Her life has been devoted to serving the Lord, her family, and those around her. If she were not in bed, she would be out helping other elderly individuals, serving families in need, or attending mass.

 

 

 

We are raising funds to pay for the surgery, medicine, a wheel chair/walker to aid during her recovery and physical therapy costs after the surgery.

 

We thank our family and friends for all the help they have been able to provide thus far.

We want to thank you in advance for reading this post and praying for my Mom and our family as we walk through this. There is strength in numbers, and each grain of sand will soon become a mountain.

Hola, mi nombre es Mayuri Flores de Vilchez.

 

Mis hermanos y yo estamos recaudando fondos para cubrir los gastos de cirugía de fémur de nuestra Mami. Se llama Maria Aida Muñoz de Flores, tiene 88 años de edad y está llena de vida. Ella se cayó el 3 de enero y se partió el fémur a nivel de cadera. Ahora está en cama, inmovilizada, sin posibilidad de volver a caminar a menos que se someta a una cirugía

 

 

Su vida ha sido devota a servir al Señor, a su familia y a las personas a su alrededor. Si ella no estuviese en cama, estaría fuera de casa ayudando a otros viejitos, sirviendo a familias en necesidad o atendiendo misa.

 

 

Estamos recaudando fondos para pagar por la cirugía, medicina, una silla de ruedas/caminadora para asistirla durante su recuperación y costos de fisioterapia después de la cirugía.

 

Agradecemos a la familia y amigos que han podido ofrecer ayuda hasta ahora.

De antemano, agradecemos a usted por leer este relato y por orar por mi Mami y por nuestra familia, mientras caminamos por esta situación. En la unión está la fuerza y cada granito de arena se convierte en una montaña.
