A lot of people know Abby as a cheerleader, beertender, best friend, purple enthusiast, social media manager, sister, and daughter. Her laughter is contagious and she is one of the most wonderful human beings. On April 19th, 2023, Abby was diagnosed with Lymphoma. As a 24 year old, cancer was her last worry in the world. Abby has two large lumps and two smaller ones on her lymph nodes in her throat and they make breathing difficult at times. One of them is sitting right on her voice box causing voice strain. The full extent of the Lymphoma is unknown at the time. The doctors are going to do a full cat scan on 4/25 along with blood tests. She might have to get biopsies done of the lumps and the doctors are working hard to formulate a treatment plan.

Abby lights up a room with her smile and laugh. She is one of the kindest people in the world and she spreads so much joy and good vibes no matter where she goes. No 24 year old expects to have a cancer diagnosis, especially while working a full-time job, worrying about rent, and just trying to live their best life. This was a gut punch to Abby and all of her loved ones. Although that treatment plan is unknown at the time, we know the medical bills will begin to pile up. Abby might have to travel for treatment along with having to stop work during treatment.

-Treatment and medical bills not covered by insurance

-Travel for treatment

-Food and rent if Abby is unable to work during treatment

-Support for when her parents have to take off work to help her

-Counseling

-And possibly more things when more information is known and a treatment plan is formulated

Abby is strong and will fight this with constant love and support from her family and friends. Abby is so grateful for everyone who has reached out and offered to help.
