Let's Help a Momma Out

Hi everyone, I am one of Nicole's closest friends and I am setting this fundraiser up to help her while she recovers from a recent medical health crisis. Early New Years Eve night, while making homemade pizza & watching movies with her daughters, Nicole had a stroke that affected the entire left side of her body. She has been recovering in the hospital for the last week, and will be spending the next few weeks to a few months at a rehab facility as she regains the use of the affected limbs.

Unfortunately, this also means she cannot work and will not be able to pay her current bills, nor the mounting medical costs that are beginning to pile up. As you can imagine, she's very worried about all of this at a time when she should be focused on her recovery.

Anyone who knows Nicole, knows that she isn't someone who likes to ask for help. She has always prided herself as being self-sufficient and at figuring out how to provide for herself and for her kids...which hasn't always been easy to do as a single mother. She's a hard worker and a strong person. I know she'll power through this how she always has, but in the meantime, perhaps we as a community can ease some of the burdens she is facing.
