Gary Blum is a home inspector in his late 50's. Like many of us, he's in his second career. Gary is the consummate woodworker; great with his hands, and he's a super technician and competent writer. He's the kind of inspector who is good for our profession.

Gary is always smiling, ready with a joke, and he's helpful- even to folks who are his competitors.

Late last month, Gary had a stroke. It's affected his speech, his gait, and it's clear that he won't be able to work for at least several months and maybe longer.
