With a heavy heart, we share that, Sarvashakti Mataji, recently met with a serious accident while traveling from Vṛndāvana to Chandigarh. She has sustained a major leg injury and undergone a surgery, which now requires her to remain in India for an extended period of recovery.

This unexpected turn of events has placed a tremendous emotional and financial strain on Mataji. Far from home, away from her support network, and unable to work, she is faced with medical bills and daily living expenses.

Sarvashakti Mataji has been a very dedicated & sincere devotee serving as a temple receptionist, answering all the calls and emails regarding organising pujas and ceremony requests while working a full-time job and taking care of her 2 children. She is an inspiration and a pillar of strength and service in our Sydney congregation — always ready to lend a hand, offer a kind word and receive our temple visitors in a warm and welcoming way. Now, she needs our collective care and compassion.

We are humbly appealing to your generous hearts to help raise at least $10,000 AUD to support her with:

• Medical treatment and rehabilitation

• Safe accommodation and daily needs during her recovery in India

• Travel costs to return to Sydney when she is well enough

• Basic living expenses until she can regain her footing
