Amanda, Ailey, and I started LandBridge (www.land-bridge.org) to help more women become legal owners of their land. No woman should face barriers to land ownership, but many women cannot afford the fee (often less than $100) to have their homes legally recognized.

That's where LandBridge comes in. Our non-profit improves the lives of women and their families with direct assistance to register their land. We know that when women have secure land rights, they are more financially secure and empowered; they are less likely to experience gender-based violence; the entire household is less likely to suffer from malnutrition; and their children are more likely to go to school.
