Let's have a BASH!

We hope to study the awesome Birkie fitness culture by establishing The Birkebeiner Annual Survey of Health (BASH). The annual health survey would be administered virtually to past and present participants of a Birkie event. This fundraiser aims to provide the support to design, automate, and launch the survey, which would be led by data analysts, medical researchers, and members of the Birkie culture.

All Birkie participants are a part of the Birkie fitness culture. We all know this is a great way of life, but we also know that other people could really benefit from finding and joining a fitness culture of their own. We have already completed two academic studies of the Birkie culture, so much of the work is already done. But we need the financing to pay for professional platforms and tools to design, deliver, and analyze the survey results each year. As Telemark Village continues to surge forward as a destination for outdoor fitness and health, the Birkebeiner Annual Survey of Health can help us study the growth and export learnings from the Birkie fitness culture, far and wide.
