Life has a funny way of handing us things, (good and bad), and usually when we least expect it.
Thankfully, most of us have loved ones in our corners, supporting us through the good, the bad and the ugly.
On July 23 , Amber and Mike had a mix of both of these things.
They welcomed their sweet baby boy, Raegen Alexander into this world after a long anticipated wait.
Unfortunately , their beautiful boy had something other than birthday celebrations in mind for them that day.
Raegen is a fighter, but has a long journey ahead of him.
Every day is a mini battle, so right now we are celebrating the small victories, and taking the rest in stride, while trying to support Amber and Mike in any way we can. They are fighting hard, on a journey they never knew they would have to take.
We don't have all of the answers yet. Right now, Amber and Mike are processing all of the information they are receiving.
Once they are ready to share, we will update everyone on the situation, and Raegen’s continued journey.
Until then, it’s hour by hour, day by day.
A lot of people have asked how they can help, so we figured this would be the easiest way.
We know this will not be an easy road, so we are asking for everyone to rally together with lots of love, thoughts and prayers, and any donation you would like to make to help ease some of this burden for them. They will have more then their fair share of medical expenses, needed time off work, and whatever else needed to make sure Raegen has the best care possible.
They WILL get through this, with the love and support from all of YOU!
