I want to tell you about someone I met during my travels in Lahore, Pakistan recently—someone who really moved me.

This man has no home. No family to look after him. No steady income. Just a small bowl in his hands, and a quiet, humble presence. He didn’t ask for anything. He just stood there with a dignity that broke my heart.

I couldn’t walk away and forget him. Something inside me said, “If I can do something—even a little—maybe others will join me.”

So here I am, starting this fundraiser.

I don’t know everything about his past, but I know this: he wants to work. He wants to earn with his own hands. He just needs a chance. With €10,000, we can help him start fresh. We can help him:

Because he’s a human being—like me and you. He didn’t choose this life. And if roles were reversed, I would hope someone would do the same for me.

We throw away more money on things we don’t even remember buying. But here, every euro will directly change someone’s life.
