My brother-in-law Randy has MS. He was diagnosed with the relapse/remitting kind in 1999. He coped well with his disease for many years having occasional relapses. Something changed after 2014. His MS went from R/R to progressive. Very quickly this man went from walking to having to use a wheelchair. It didn’t stop there. Randy lost his mobility to the point that now he can barely stand & must use a motorized wheelchair. His family was able to help him obtain a stair lift in his home so he could continue to live with his family. Now he needs our help to purchase a wheelchair friendly vehicle. It would give him opportunities to get out of his house more & not have to pay for taxis. Even something we take for granted, like going to get a haircut or going to his son’s baseball games. Randy has only been to a couple games. Randy through all this has maintained a positive attitude even on the worst days.
In 2015 we “gave Randy a (stair) lift” please help us “give Randy a new ride” in 2019.
By donating we can purchase a gently used wheelchair friendly van & we can give Randy back his freedom to get out more.
