My name is Hubert Bartz and I am 31 years old. I will write very simply because my story is very simple.
In October 2017 I found out that I have cancer, blood cancer, or if you prefer Lymphoma. At the hospital I was informed that I need chemotherapy and that I would become sterile. I knew what it meant for me to take chemotherapy. My mother died of cancer in 2010. When she started taking chemotherapy everything went wrong. She was getting weaker and weaker, and when finally exhausted, she died. I was not with her when she passed away because I had to physically work in Holland to help her financially. What do I want to write? I want to write that I do not want to take chemotherapy. I do not want to take something that will destroy me from the inside. Being ill with cancer is more than enough for me. I contacted Dr. Hubert Czerniak who is known to cure cancer in patients without the use of chemotherapy. His treatments truly heal the body, unlike chemotherapy that destroys the body along with the cancer without a guarantee of recovery in the process. Six months' treatment by Dr. Czerniak will cost PLN 47,340 and the medications each month will cost PLN 5,890. In addition, diet and proper nutrition are critical to my healing process and the costs for proper nutrition are estimated to cost PLN 2,000 per month. I should now probably write why you should support me. I honestly do not know what to write other than that everyone wants and fights to live. Everyone has plans, dreams, and goals. Everyone wants to breathe, live, and enjoy their lives. My situation is not unique. I am just one of many millions of people who are ill. When I die, I know that the Earth will keep spinning. The sun will still rise and people will wake up and start their day to go to work. This is reality and that is the truth. I want to live. I am 31 years' old and I so much want to become a husband and a father, to build this house, and plant a damn tree! What really motivates me to live and fight this disease the most is that I want to prove that chemotherapy is not the only source of treatment, to prove that someone can overcome cancer without destroying the entire body with chemotherapy that kills in the same way. I truly want to be a living example that cancer is not a death sentence, and that chemotherapy is not an absolute necessity in all cases. Currently, my colleague, a filmmaker, is making a documentary movie about me because I want to show that cancer can be cured without chemotherapy.
I will fight to the end - I am an athlete. In Holland I worked physically and trained K1. After my mother's death, I worked at a construction site in Poland and took up bodybuilding. To be clear, I was 100% "natural" and never even contemplated using steroids. Sports taught me discipline and persistent pursuit of purpose. Unfortunately I am unable to fight this latest battle on my own and with the utmost respect I am asking for your financial support. I will not win the most important fight of my life without you. I am fighting for life. Please help me and I thank you for taking the time to read this letter and for the support that you are able and willing to offer.
