Dear friends and kind-hearted individuals,
My name is De’Quint Hill, and I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart, seeking your support in a time of great sorrow. We are devastated by the loss of our beloved Bowie, and we humbly ask for your help in giving him the final farewell he deserves.
Bowie came into this world on April 24, 1969, in Taylor, Texas. Son of Velma Mae Hill and Donald Jones .Throughout his life, he found solace and joy in the beauty of nature. Fishing trips, hunting excursions, camping under the stars, and lazy days tubing down rivers were among his favorite pastimes. He had an unwavering love for the great outdoors, cherishing every moment spent in its embrace.
In his early years, Bowie's passion for sports, particularly football, burned brightly. He poured his heart and soul into the game, dedicating countless hours to honing his skills. But beyond his athletic prowess, Bowie was a pillar of support for his family. Whenever they needed a helping hand, he was there without hesitation, offering his unwavering assistance.
As an uncle, Bowie held a special place in our hearts. Despite not being able to spend every day together, he made sure to be present whenever possible. His pride in his nieces & nephews knew no bounds, and he would often regale anyone who would listen with tales of their accomplishments. He was a gentle giant, with a warm and giving nature that left no room for harm in his presence. Bowie's strength and resilience were awe-inspiring, serving as an inspiration to us all.
Today, we find ourselves faced with an unimaginable burden—the cost of honoring Bowie's life with a proper funeral and burial service. We turn to you, our extended community, to help us bear this weight and alleviate the financial strain that has befallen our family during this difficult time. Your generosity will enable us to give Bowie the dignified farewell he deserves, surrounded by love and support.

On behalf of our entire family, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for your compassion and generosity during this challenging time. May Bowie's spirit find eternal peace, and may your kindness be returned to you in abundant measure.
With sincere appreciation,
De’Quint Hill and the family of Bowie
