Let’s get wee John moving

I met wee John when I first moved to London. He is a Glasgow boy and has been living in London for 20 years. He is a lovely guy. He is caring, thoughtful and would do anything for anyone. Unfortunately John struggles every day with Osteoporosis (this is a health condition that weakens bones, making them fragile and more likely to break) he also has arthritis and desperately needs a hip replacement for which he has been on the waiting more than 2 and a half years!! Chronic pain caused by his condition make everyday tasks and getting around very hard. John is reliant on others for help because he can barely walk 20 metres without having to stop. It would me the world to me and to John if we could help give him back a little independence and dignity. Just to be able to pop to the shops on his own would mean so much!

A mobility scooter would improve John’s quality of life immeasurably!!

New they can come in at £2500, but I have seen some reconditioned ones for £800-£1000 but I need your help to get there. John would be so grateful and it would change his live in a massive way.
