Let’s get Viv mobile

My name is Laura and I’m aiming to raise funds for Vivien Smith, my darling best friend.

Vivien is 41 and has terminal cancer. She is currently receiving treatment with the aim to stop her cancer progressing further, however it is no longer possible to cure her.

Vivien still lives independently, with her cat Samson, with the aid of friends and family. She rarely has the energy for outings outside of hospital and hospice appointments.

I would like, with your help, to raise the money to purchase her a mobility scooter.

Let’s get Viv out of her house for this summer, broadening her opportunities for fresh air, social interaction and independence. In a manner which her low energy levels can handle.

Viv has done so much for many over the years. She is currently involved with Pricilla Bacon Lodge Hospice, attending social and exercise classes. Viv has also been an active voice for the hospice, promoting a different perception of end of life care.

Despite being in constant discomfort and managing a gruelling line up of meds Vivien offers sound advice ( coined with a wicked sense of humour) and is adored by many.
