Our dear friend, Vanessa Mota (aka Nena/@yogith0t), is embarking on the journey of a lifetime. In approximately one month from today (5/25/2021), she will be leaving the U.S. and begin making the trek to Bali, Indonesia, to attend a 4-week, 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training & Retreat at Zuna Yoga. She will spend these weeks connecting, healing, learning, and deepening her practice to benefit herself, her spirituality, and her students.
Vanessa has been working so hard these past few months to make this lifelong dream of hers a reality. We are so proud of her. We wanted to develop a way to collectively alleviate the financial burden of traveling across the world. Our hope is that with our help, she can focus on the spiritual aspect of her time in Bali. We arrived at creating her a GoFundMe that we could share among friends. In the spirit of giving and support, we are asking our community of friends & family to donate what you can to Vanessa's journey to Bali. Your donation will go directly towards helping Vanessa with travel expenses/flights, her room & board, program tuition ($3,600), and any remaining funds will be used towards pet care for her precious fur babies, Gooch & Rue, while she is away.
Vanessa is an incredible Yogi, friend, sister, daughter, and fur mama. She is always giving the most wonderful, light-filled energy to her students. She has changed countless lives with her practice, with no expectations in return. I hope that she sees this fundraiser as our way of saying thank you for all the energy and support she graciously gives to her students & friends.
