
Eagle Lake Police Officer Battling Cancer

E. Torres, a seven years veteran Police Officer, three years of dedicated service with Eagle Lake Police Department and a father of five daughters. Officer E. Torres was diagnosed with stage one cancer a year ago, and underwent orchiectomy surgery, unfortunately cancer then spread to the rest of his body. He was then diagnosed with stage three cancer. Mr. Torres is required to undergo four cycles of chemotherapy.
Mr. Torres is unable to work since August this year (2019) due to his condition and is uncertain when, he will be able to return to work. He needs support to pay for some medical expenses and other unexpected expenses, at the same time provide for his family.
His wife is also unable to work to provide care for him. His family has already experienced the loss of his only brother to cancer as well back in 1992. Thank you in advance for any support to help Mr. Torres and his family. It will be greatly appreciated.
