Let’s get this Ziggy rehabilitated and to the UK!

Hi All,

We are currently on holiday in Morocco

and whilst we have come across so many dogs and cats that could do with the help this little guy really needs it the most!

We found him on the beach pretty much on his last legs, we have taken him to the vets and he has a skin condition, worms, fleas and he is extremely malnourished!

The vets have treated him for the worms, fleas and the skin condition however the skin condition needs to be treated for another 6 weeks and we go home on Sunday!

The vet has recommended a company that looks after the dogs until they are ready to come to the UK and arranges all their mediciation/vaccinations etc.

We have been advised that the vet fees are usually around £400. The treatment for his skin condition is around £150. The ranch he stays at until he’s ready to come to the UK is £200 per month and he would need to be there for 4 months. Then we would need to fly from Morocco to Paris then Eurostar from Paris to London. We would more than happy arrange the transfer and everything in the meantime.

 Ideally we would love someone to adopt him in UK but if not we can figure something out the main thing is he is off the streets this little guy wouldn’t last two minutes there! All funds raised will cover his vet bills, Accomodation and travel home any extra will be donated to a Moroccan dog rescue charity.

We would fund this ourselves however lots of kind people have asked us to set this up as they would like to contribute

**UPDATE**

Little Ziggy is now at the ranch where he will stay for 4 months we have paid for the first month upfront £200 and we have 3 more months to pay after this we have also paid for all his first vaccinations, antibiotics,medications and microchip these where £140 and the first vet visit yesterday was £45 roughly. 

He’s happy and he’s settled but the challenge is far from over he still has to have 2 more sets of injections and we have to get him to the UK.

Progress update from our little angel ❤️

I hope you're both well. I'm writing to let you know my news from the ranch. You see, the animals become very hi-tech whilst staying here, haha. ️ You will be thrilled that all is going fabulous for me. I'm very happy - my little tail is constantly wagging, and I'm so appreciative of all the care I'm being shown. Aunty is already in love with me and every day we share special moments together. Yes, I don't keep still - constantly fiddling... with her hands, her clothes, my toys, my blankets, her shoes, her hair!!! hahaha! I'm eating so well. The kibble is delicious - it's a special puppy one. I've also been having a little paté with my tablet - which I've completed the course now. The best news for you though I believe, is that my hair is growing back - a lot! I actually look like a different dog! Aunty will send photos of my progress to your messenger.
