Hi beautiful people!

I have about a week to raise money to be able to bring the sweetest pup (seriously - he’s the SWEETEST pup) back to Canada.

I was hiking the Hooiberg one morning with my husband and he followed me straight to my front door. The rest is history. He is a complete lover boy and did not want to leave. He was a stray living on the streets constantly at risk of getting hit by a car and had to fight for food and water but somehow he had managed to stay so kind and loving. He is truly looking for a warm loving home. He is looking for his forever pack. He really surprised us with how sweet and loving (we couldn’t believe how well behaved he was.. no barking, no destruction when you leave.. so friendly.. but he interestingly becomes sad when we leave that he won’t touch his food or water until we are back because then he is happy again ) that we took him on and have brought him to the vet ourselves and have gotten him everything he needs to be ready for his forever home. He deserves all the love and cuddles in the world and he will certainly be giving them back. ❤️

He’s likely just over a year old. When he first

came home with us, I went to every nearby home and asked if they have seen him before and no luck. I also tried many times to let him do his thing and wander off but he always comes where I go… He is glued to my hip which is not like the other pups in my neighbourhood that usually come and say hi and then be on their way. No microchip or collar to indicate he has an owner.

I also thought of neutering and releasing - no dice - he wants to come home with me every time. I would have to drop him off somewhere and drive away in the car quickly to actually leave him (which is obviously heartbreaking and cruel and I would never do that but just showing you the extent I would have to go to, to separate from him) He is really really looking for a loving home. ❤️

SO - this is where I need everybody’s help. We have a lot of love in our hearts but it is very expensive because they do not do direct flights from Aruba to Canada for larger dogs. He will have to cross through the US and will need an agent to accompany him. It is going to cost $3,600 USD. Time is heartbreakingly running out because we have to head back home for work in a week and need to raise this money. The organizations here are completely full so that is not an option and I cannot fathom leaving him in the middle of nowhere and abandoning him and heading to the airport.

Please, if you have 1$ 2$ 10$ or any amount to spare EVERY little bit counts. You will be doing a great thing especially if you are an animal lover…
