Hi everyone, my name is Amanda and I am fundraising for Jason Vehrs. Back in January Jason suffered from an undiagnosed neurological issue that left him unable to walk unassisted and requiring therapy. Jason still requires on going assistance, is in chronic pain and has since suffered a few more incidents that have sent him back to the hospital. We have a great neurologist we are working with however struggling to get the testing needed to get a diagnosis to move forward. Even as a rush request the earliest MRI can get is in September. There are three different MRI scans needed, specifically looking for damage to the Myelin. Any delay in diagnosing could be causing irreparable damage. We have found a clinic in Buffalo we can get him into within a week. Unfortunately with Jason being unable to work and no benefit coverage, costs are adding up and hoping for help to assist with the money needed to get the MRI done immediately.
