My prison doula friend needs our help. Her client, who is incarcerated here in Minnesota, has been pumping from inside prison so that she can provide for her newborn, even from behind bars. Her doula has been shipping the breastmilk to her baby's father each week. The father, however, recently had to move out-of-state to be closer to extended family for support, and the cost of overnighting the milk out-of-state is way more than the program has budgeted for. ($400 to overnight just one package a week!)

Can you please spare a few dollars to help get this woman's breastmilk shipped to her baby? (All you lactators and former lactators out there - you KNOW how much work this is!) If not, the milk, which is currently in a freezer, will get thrown away.

100% of funds raised will go to the shipping costs and purchase of dry ice. If we raise our goal of $1200, that will cover 3 weeks of shipments, which is how much milk she has pumped. Thank you in advance.
