Update: A Note From Us What’s Been Happening

We want to be open with our community, because you’ve always been open with us.

Over the last several months, Blissful Buns went through a major shake-up. We lost access to much of the equipment we believed we had secured, and at the same time, rent at our former kitchen was set to more than triple. Those two things together forced us to move quickly and start rebuilding far sooner than planned.

It was hard. It slowed us down. And yes, it hurt.

But it did not stop us.

We found an incredible new kitchen space. Orders are open again. Our customers continue to show up in ways that honestly leave us speechless. We are baking, rebuilding, and moving forward, step by step.

Right now, we are still working through the practical side of recovery. We are actively seeking help moving a refrigerator and finishing the relocation of essential equipment. We are also still in need of reliable refrigeration and freezer space to fully operate the way Blissful Buns is meant to.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, we’ve already received about $1,500 in support, and that help made a real, tangible difference. It kept us going during one of the tightest moments we’ve faced.

We are not asking for pity. We are asking for partnership.

At the beginning of February, when emergency dental work, delayed equipment deliveries, and missed sales stacked up all at once, we nearly canceled a farmers market. Instead, Jason stayed up all night baking so we could show up anyway. He baked, loaded, worked the market, and tore everything down himself.

And then you showed up.

We had customers cry over cinnamon rolls and soft pretzels. That kind of connection reminds us why we do this. It’s not just food. It’s care. It’s safety. It’s comfort.

We are closer than ever to being fully up and running. New equipment is coming. A grand opening is ahead. Jason is finally getting the space he needs to create new chef specials and dig into the science and craft he loves so much.

Blissful Buns is not broken.

It was tested.

It was slowed.

And it is still standing.

Help Blissful Buns Bakery Rise Through Hard Times

Hi everyone!

This is Lori, owner of Blissful Buns Bakery. I never thought I’d be setting up a GoFundMe, but after a whirlwind of challenges, here we are, humble, hopeful, and still baking our hearts out.

As many of you know, we bought Dream Bakery recipes when she was closing. It's not easy, and the cost of ingredients and everything else has skyrocketed since December! It was a dream opportunity wrapped in total chaos. We jumped in headfirst with heart and hustle, and we’ve been learning as we go.

Thanks to your incredible support, we have already made some changes that are working! We’re heading into our busy season, and the momentum is building. But-real talk-our recent hospital emergency knocked us back financially , and missing a big weekend of sales is hitting us hard. On top of that, we’re still catching up from startup costs. It's been a lot.

We’ve already received around $1,500 in generous help and let me tell you—it made a world of difference. We’re not looking for handouts—just a little lift to get us back on track. Once we’re caught up, we’re confident we’ll be in a great place to grow and thrive. We’re not giving up, and we don’t want to slow down! Hopefully, we can get to the point where we can help give back more!
