Let's get Mama Buluku to Canberra!

Hi everyone,

Mama Buluku is Maleny’s own all women's African inspired drum and dance troupe. Our joyous and high energy performances are a celebration of primal rhythm and the powerful life force it awakens within us. We strive to empower women through creative expression and collaborative connection.

Mama Buluku has been selected to perform at the National Folk Festival in April 2025, we are all very excited about it but getting 12 women and 15 drums there plus a costume update is a financial challenge. This is an amazing opportunity for our group so we are calling on our community near and far to support us in getting there and back.
