Hi friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

We’re reaching out with joyful hearts and a humble request. Our beloved Genevieve is getting married! The Lord brought Genevieve and her amazing fiancé, Daniel Elidio (amazing, Godly, thoughtful and extremely devoted to Genevieve), together on a mission trip in Brazil in November of 2023. The two were originally set to get married in Emporia on May 17 but some difficulty in immigration on their last trip back from Brazil has necessitated a change of plans. They have been apart since March and will now get married in Brazil on August 9.

But there’s one thing missing: the Lowery family — Genevieve’s family — being there in person to celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime moment.

Despite picking up extra jobs and brainstorming fundraising ideas, the cost of international travel for the whole family is more than they can manage alone. As their community, we wanted to step in to help them shoulder this unexpected expense. Between flights, lodging, transportation, and all the little necessities that add up quickly, we’re asking for your support to help make this dream a reality.

Genevieve has always been there for her loved ones — the one who shows up, who listens, who serves and gives without expecting anything in return. Now it’s our turn to show up for her. Your donation will go directly toward airfare and travel costs to get her family to Brazil so they can stand by her side as she begins this new chapter of her life.
