Let’s get the “It Can Be You” Book Published!

About 3 years ago, I decided to start a project in the aims to “Give a Face” to homelessness through fashion initiatives using the voices of influencers on social media (humanize the problem) via an initiative called: The NYLON Project with the #ItCanBeYou.
I hosted a launch only 2 months after conception to share my idea, and garnered influencers including: Singer/Songwriter Christina Milian, JWOWW of MTV’s Jersey Shore, tons of fashion influencers, etc. to attend and support.
I garnered press features internationally by WWD, Racked, Huffington Post , Globo International, FOX News, etc.
I then raised over $10,000 on GoFundMe to be able to gather a street team and give out meals to homeless individuals in NYC to commence, and get each of their stories of how they wound up on the streets.
After that, I garnered 50 fashion/lifestyle influencers from all over the world to come on board the project as ambassadors and share their story of struggle and perseverance. They include: Julia Faria, Thania Peck of Catcher in the Style, Melissa Molinaro, Tezza, etc.
I then wrote a book titled: It Can Be You - cover art by Jason Naylor (world renowned creative & artist) where I share the story of one of the 50 influencers of perseverance side by side to the story of someone who today is “homeless” to show people the similarities in struggle but the circumstance which differentiates them.
NOW the exciting news - I got a PUBLISHING deal to get the book distributed and sold at Barnes and Nobles, Amazon, Kindle, and national book stores! They will take the manuscript of It Can Be You, create an incredible book (of excellent quality) and distribute. In order to close on this publishing deal - for the first 1,000 books to be distributed - I need an investment of $9,200 to be exact.
ALL books sold (for every 1,000), I will take the proceeds and change 1 homeless individuals life (have it documented) from A to Z.
Help me - every donation counts towards my goal of $9,200. It’s time this gets in the hands of the masses as I believe it will inspire millions and change the lives of many!
