I am proud to say I am now writing my debut book about pregnancy and childbirth for young mothers, who may be feeling scared and anxious. I want to address the stereotypes and judgments we face. Through my own personal journey, I began to make decisions for myself to ensure that I followed my dreams, passions, and heart desires. It was important for me to continue to have good mental health and surround myself with positive people that I could learn from. During the lockdown, I have written more than 200 pages in four weeks and I am now raising funds to cover the costs of publishing with Peaches Publications. Your generous donations will go towards:

My name is Lauron I am a young mother of 24, with two beautiful children. I had my first child during my teenage years and I found it extremely difficult to cope. I battled constantly with loads of social stereotypes in regard to being a 'young mother'. At this point I was still trying to figure out what life was all about. I struggled to discover what I wanted for myself. I had a lot of different opinions from friends, family and organisations about what I should do in my situation and about what I should not do. It was a very conflicting time for me. I became overwhelmed, although the advice was coming from a good space.
I feel it is important that parents know that you can still progress through your life. They should keep the fire in their bellies to continue to do so. This is why I am making this book so that parents can read it, learn from it, then go out and be proactive in getting positive support systems in place as they progress in life along with their children's growth and wellbeing.
