Help Sophie pay for her dance and give back to her community

Welcome to Sophie's GoFund Me! We are happy you have found Chase the Lion! We hope he is having an amazing time with you!! Sophie's goal is to help pay for her dance, plus give back to the amazing community we call home! In April 2025 she was at the Star Talent Dance competition, where she won 1st place and Judges Choice for her Jazz Solo. She was also invited to Lightening Elites Dance Intensive in Disneyland with a $1000 Scholarship! Our family could not afford a trip like that, so her mom asked if she was willing to put in some work to get there and boy did she ever!! The Community rallied around her but it was The Chase Lions Club that kickstarted her fundraising goal of $6800! Sophie continued collecting bottles and cans, hosted sucker pulls with great prizes, Chase Fire Department hosted a car wash for her! She had a few draws with some great prizes, and she even looms her own bracelets and keychains to sell. Sophie raised over $5000 on her own to go. This little miss is dedicated! Then with the thanks to Gramma, her and her mom were able to go!

Sophie's future goals are to become a Junior Ambassador for Chase BC, But the community needs to start that program up again, which is something her and her mom would like to do. Sophie's mom is an Education Assistant at the local High-School and would love to start a Youth Drop In Center as well.

Sophie's long future career goals is to go into writing and acting. She would love to go to New York to see Hamilton on stage one day.

She has big dreams and will work hard to get there. Any little bit helps!
