Let's Get Sean Fennell Back on His Feet!
Donation protected
Our friend and brother Sean Fennell suffered a stroke on January 26, 2021. The entire left side of his body has been affected. After several days in the hospital, Sean was transferred to Cottage Rehabilitation Hospital where he has been receiving intense full-time physical, speech, and occupational therapy. He’s been working very hard and has regained some movement on the left side of his body, but still has a ways to go.
Sean's insurance refuses to cover any further intensive therapy so the hospital has no choice but to release him next week. As an outpatient, Sean will only receive two short sessions twice per week as opposed to the daily intensive therapy he is currently receiving.
It will be some time before Sean is strong and mobile enough to resume a “normal” lifestyle and be able to resume working full-time. In the meantime, Sean and Ischa's finances will be greatly impacted by medical bills not covered by insurance and the loss of income while Sean is recovering.
Sean has impacted and influenced countless people through his work in the permaculture community. He is passionate about “feeding the people” both physically and spiritually and he leads by example - growing an abundance of organic produce and distributing it from Lompoc to Santa Ynez. He is dedicated to the path of Kriya Yoga Meditation and to his work in permaculture. Sean's enthusiasm and selfless giving inspires everyone he encounters.
Please share this with everyone, as Sean is a beloved husband and friend who needs our help. Let's help this selfless man who has helped so many himself.
