Let's get Robin to the finish line...

Donation protected
If you don't know, my name is Bayne, and I am Robin's brother.

As you may know, Robin Bluestone was admitted to Duke University Hospital in October.  She was on a business trip and was suffering horrendous back pain. It was so debilitating that she had to be transported in a wheelchair through the airport to board the airplane and also, after arriving, to be transported to the Emergency Room.  After spending a few hours in emergency care, noting some abnormalities in her blood work, they transported her to Duke University Hospital.  It took numerous hours, but finally, the pain subsided.  It took another day to receive the prognosis.

Robin has a rare form of Leukemia that resides in the bone marrow.  The incredible pain was due to the marrow swelling up inside the bone. A therapy plan is in place and started Oct 31st. Her treatments will continue for several months, including a trial and chemotherapy, but they expect full remission.

She is home as of this writing but will have two more long hospital stays at the end of November and in December.

Thankfully Robin IS insured, and a lot of her medical expenses will be covered.  But there is a sizeable unknown amount that WILL NOT be covered.

If you feel led to help, it would be greatly appreciated.  Any excess funds will be donated to Leukemia research.
