We got Ralph 10 days ago and he has come into our little family and fit right in. Unfortunately on the 28/09 he started showing signs of illness which quickly deteriorated leading to admission into the vet hospital - where he is currently staying. They are doing everything to stabilise him and diagnose the cause. This includes several day/overnight stays, him being attached to his IV to support constantly to try and keep his temperature down, multiple medications, steroids. This is proving difficult and lots of tests are being done to get to the route problem. If one of his tests do show positive he is possibly going to need a blood transfusion alongside. The financial strain of this is hard due to only having him 10 days the insurance does not cover him whilst being in the 14 day period of being poorly.
