Sentinels Helping Sentinels: Let's Get Patty Rolling Again. We're reaching out with a heartfelt request to help one of our own - Patty Gerald (Golliet), a proud 1983 graduate of Spanaway Lake High School and once a powerhouse on the field. If you knew Patty back then, you'll remember her as the athlete with fire in her step, strength in her stride, and always a smile to share.

But life, as it often does, threw some unexpected curves. A series of severe health challenges over the years have left Patty living in a nursing home at just 60 years old. Her spirit is still as strong as ever - but her access to the outside world is not. Simply stepping outside, feeling the sun, or getting a change of scenery has become a rare and difficult event. That's why we're coming together as the Sentinel community - the classes of 1983, 1084 and 1985 - to raise funds for a lightweight, foldable electric wheelchair. This chair would be a game changer. It would give Patty the freedom to leave her room, go outside, and reconnect with the world around her. It's more than mobility - it's dignity, independence, and the joy of movement she once knew so well.
