Let's get Parham better again!

Hi, my name is Setareh (Star). I am writing this in the hope that we can help save my cousin's life.

My cousin Parham, who has always been a brother to me, is currently fighting for his life following complications from his bone marrow transplant following his long battle with Leukaemia. Parham is currently fighting GVHD (graft-versus-host disease) in his gut, a debilitating disease.

Unfortunately, the NHS would not fund the costs of the treatment he requires, Ruxolitinib. As a result, he is currently self funding his treatment. We recently almost lost him, but since starting this treatment (he is currently on the 3rd week), he has shown positive signs of improvement in his health. His doctors at this point believe the cost of his treatment will approximately cost him £20,000. This is a huge financial cost for my cousin, so I would like to reach out to any friends, family, and any kind person to please help us in Parham's continuation of his treatment.

Parham is a loving father of 2 young girls, who are desperate to be able to hug their dad. Unfortunately, they cannot at the moment as he is so immunocompromised. He is such a kind father, cousin, brother, son, friend. There are so many more memories to be had with him.

We would really appreciate any help in this journey. Thank you to everyone who has been so supportive so far. A massive thank you to the amazing NHS staff, who have been doing everything they can to support Parham.
