Let's get our friend Robert back on his feet

Dear Family and Friends,

Many of you might not know the whole story. A year ago, September, Robert was hit by a bicycle and fractured his skull and currently has dramatic brain injury as a result. The past year has not been kind to Robert; he has faced many setbacks. He has more time in the hospital than in rehab and he is currently at MGH in the ICU unit. Doctors say he will be facing untold expenses over the next few years. The plan is to eventually get him to Florida in the foreseeable future for continued rehab, with hopes for his return to Massachusetts. This will bring the first big expense, the ambulance ride to Florida which will cost approximately $15,000. With the advice of his close friends and family, I am setting up a GoFundMe account. I am told a goal must be set so I will set it at $25,000. Every penny will go to the ambulance cost and any residual funds will go towards his coming living expenses at rehab and beyond.
