Getting Nick Sidener to Rest
Donation protected
Hi, all. My name is Juliette Haney, and I am Nick Sidener’s granddaughter, one of 13 of them. Nick wore many hats - husband, father, grandfather, truck driver, Lyft driver, brass instrumentalist, Santa, DJ Nick Battle, Chuck-E-Cheese, tour bus driver, and countless others. I miss him more than anybody could fathom. He had an amazing personality and could talk with just about anyone about anything.
After being diagnosed with leukemia not even a week before his passing, Nick passed in Duluth, MN at around 4:30 am comfortably with the best nursing staff and physicians anyone could ask for at St. Mary Medical Center. This loss has left a huge hole in our hearts that only he could possibly fill.
My family and I desperately need help getting him home to Owensboro, KY so that we can cremate him and let him rest with dignity. We are faced with embalming costs, transportation costs from Duluth to Owensboro, cremation, and possibly a service, and none of us know where to begin.
All funds will be given directly to myself and his wife Janet so that we can navigate this terrible loss.
I will cherish the memories me and my grandfather had for eternity. Please help us in any way you can by sharing this with your friends and family so that we can gracefully let him go.
Thank you in advance for your support, monetarily, spiritually, and emotionally. Nick had so much love to give, so let’s give it all back to him.
