Update: 3-13-2024
Hi everyone,
Big news: We hit our first goal of $1,000 - thanks to YOU! Your kindness has truly touched my heart. This step towards getting an Insulin Pump is a game-changer for me, and it's all because of your support.
But our journey isn't over yet. To fully cover the cost of the pump and the ongoing supplies, I still need your help. Could you share my story with your friends and family? Your share might just be the nudge someone needs to help us get to the next milestone.
Every share, every dollar, brings me closer to a healthier life.
Thank you, truly, for everything.
For years I haven't been taking the best of care of my Diabetes and after a few health scares at the end of 2023 I decided it was time to get things under control.
This is a long and hard road to travel but I know I can do it.
In January I went to my Endocrinologist and she put me on a Continuous Glucose Monitor and we talked about the potential of me going on an Insulin Pump.
With today's modern Insulin Pumps they communicate with the Continuous Glucose Monitor and act almost as a "robotic pancreas" This will be an immense help in keeping me under control and having a better, fuller life as well as avoid any potential complications from Diabetes.
Since going on a Continuous Glucose Monitor I have been stressing out about my Glucose Levels daily and a pump will 100 percent help with that in avoiding low and high blood sugars and as such I will be controlling my Diabetes rather than it controlling me.
I have an order with Tandem Diabetes for a Pump and just need a little help paying for it.
Whatever you can share will help me on my goal of starting Pump therapy as soon as I can.
Whatever we go over my goal will be spent on my now monthly cost of Infusion sites and other Diabetes related costs outside of the Pump (Diabetes is expensive y'all)
