Hey pals - Hannah here (Mikey’s partner).

Many of you know the passion Mikey has developed for woodworking over the last several years. I’m so proud of his talent, dedication, and what he’s accomplished as an entirely self-taught artist. But there’s only so much a person can do between shifts in the service industry while also juggling basic life crud and being the best dog dad in the world!

Mikey is ready to take a leap and learn how to be a full-time woodworker and furniture maker. I’m raising funds to help him get to a 12-week furniture intensive in Rockport, Maine at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship (https://woodschool.org/courses-programs/intensives/furniture-intensive/) this Fall. This program is one of the best in the country, and it's designed to help aspiring professional furniture makers learn what they need to succeed in the field.

I’m calling on our beloved community to help everyone's favorite sweetie pie achieve what he’s finally letting himself dream of! Funds raised here will go toward tuition (we’ve applied for a scholarship, which would help a lot, but still not cover the cost) and living expenses while he’s away from home for 3 months. Anything — absolutely anything — helps.
