LET'S GET MEGAN ON HER FEET

Since everyone is asking, here’s the tea:

Last Wednesday (8/16) I fell approximately 8ft off a down tree, trying to cross the creek, and onto my back while hiking with my nanny kids. I was cleared by the emergency department the next day when my mom forced me to go get checked out I returned to the ER on Tuesday 8/22 due to progressing weakness/numbness and uncontrollable pain, at that point I was admitted. Things progressed quickly, I had limited feeling and use in my hands (which has somewhat improved since), and could not walk without a walker and nurse assistance (my main issue now). I require round the clock care at this point for my Spinal Cord Injury. Our goal is to get off IV pain medication in the next couple of days and move down to the Intensive Inpatient Rehab program where i will spend and unknown amount of time.

Not being physically able to take care of myself and work has been very hard on me. This also is not how i planned to spend my birthday If you would like to come by please text before you come up! Company is always appreciated
