Tomo and Lucy met 11 years ago with their shared love of a fandom, then realized soon after that they shared love for one another, too. Since then, they've been fiancees living 1,800 miles apart; Lucy in Athens, GA, and Tomo down in Guadalajara, Mexico. For the past 7 years, they have been plotting ways to help Tomo emigrate to the US so that the two of them can live their lives together, as Wife and Wife. One of their biggest hurdles has been the financial obstacle of hiring an immigration lawyer to help them navigate this trick process.

I'm Lucy's housemate, Elizebeth. I've had the pleasure of helping to host Tomo when she comes to stay with Lucy.
