Abigail and Jonathan celebrated the birth of their beautiful baby boy, Luca, in July, 2023. He has had the chance to steal the hearts of all who have had the pleasure of meeting him and has also faced many medical challenges along the way with his diagnosis of Chromosomal microdeletions. Based on his complex medical needs, Luca has been at McMaster paediatric ward for over 2 months now, using the benefit of Breathing Equipment to ensure that he gets all of the support he needs to continue to grow and develop.

Abigail and Jonathan have not left Luca's side since his hospitalization in early December, and with the support of the Ronald McDonald House and the staff at McMaster, have received the care that Luca needs to continue to work towards a solid diagnosis and a comfortable state of life. Abigail and Jonathan have had to make their hospital room into a home where they can feel comfortable and continue to get the rest that they all need and deserve. As we all know, there is no place like home and that is why they are looking to relocate Luca back to their home in Brantford where they can comfortably attend to his needs. In order to be able to make the big move back home and to transport for regular appointments, Luca will need a handful of Medical Devices for him to get the helping hand that his lungs need to keep his brilliant body improving and growing.

The current equipment and assistance list is not limited to a Breathing Assistance Device, an Oxymeter, a Medial Suction device, a Feeding pump, Specialized at home nursing, and monthly maintenance and supplies.
