Hi, I am Nicola and I am setting up this GoFundMe on behalf of Serena and Lexy, 2 beautiful girls at the heart of the dog-lover community of Fulham, London.

In Serena's own words:

I got Lexy about 4 years ago when she was 6.

At that point I had become ill.

It was the worst possible time. She came into my life turned it upside down and inside out… and I have never been so happy.

She and I started FulhamWoof, a local dog-loving online and real life community, where we meet daily and share incessantly all sorts of pup related information. She and I have such amazing friends now.

I’m true form she is a Jack Russell, bossy and stubborn, naughty and feisty.

I’m under no illusion that she owns me.

As she reached her tenth birthday, I noticed she was becoming slower and sleeping more. Even her interest in squirrels ️ were waining...

Over the last few months her legs began to shake and then she started falling over and fitting, for an hour or so after she went vacant.

My Lovely vet Lu did some tests and it turns out my beautiful baby girl has heart disease ❤️.

At this point I have run out of funds to carry on treatment, which she needs as her episodes are getting closer and closer.

We desperately need further tests to determine the nature of her heart condition to allow us to move forward with treatment.

Unfortunately, these tests are incredibly expensive and without help, I cannot afford them

I love her with all my heart ❤️

I can honestly say, she means everything to me.
