Let's get Kenny walking again!
Donation protected
We are reaching out to you and would like to share a story of a very dear friend of ours. Kenny Wallace who is a long-time resident of Terra Ceia Island, Florida was recently involved in a bad vehicle accident. He was taken to Bayfront Medical Center and required immediate surgery to his neck. He has been moved to Apollo Rehab Center. His mobility is very limited, but is currently in extensive physical therapy. His spirits are high with an attitude that he wants the toughest physical therapy he can get so he can literally “get back on his feet to walk again”!
For those who know Kenny, know his abilities as a “Master Carpenter” and may have had the good fortune to have him help or work on their homes, projects or more importantly be able to call him your friend. His waiting list of those who wanted his expertise was always long, but somehow he always managed to be there to help anyone who asked. We, Eddie and Kathy Riley, have been blessed with Kenny’s big heart, his capable talents, but mostly having him as a “true” friend who has always been there for us no matter what.
He is the Park Ranger for the Seabreeze Park, was the fore runner with the rebuilding the of the boat dock at the Seabreeze Park and would lose months of whatever free time he had in the catching and cleaning of the mullet to help make the annual Terra Ceia Mullet Smoke-Off a success for many years.
To help with his medical costs, medical equipment he will need to navigate his home and exercise equipment to continue his physical therapy, we have created a GoFundMe: gofundme.com/f/lets-get-kenny-walking-again
If you could support our GoFundMe by making a donation for Kenny and then sharing it on your Facebook page, we would greatly appreciate it. We know that money can and is tight, so please know that even $5 helps us get closer to our goal. We appreciate your support, prayers and any contribution you can provide to go towards Kenny’s medical needs.
