Let's get Judy walking!

Judy's recovery from the brain injury she sustained last year has been slow but steady. While she is currently unable to walk unassisted, we are excited to share that her body is responding well to the Restorative Therapies RT 300 cycling machine that she has been using during her sessions at Helen Hayes. Progress has been good, but limited by the fact that the machine is only accessible during her offsite therapy sessions.

Please join us in raising enough money to purchase an RT 300 for the Filc/Helmuth home so that Judy can use it daily and get back on her feet again! 

You can see Judy in action in this video clip.  The RT 300 cycling machine supports therapy for the legs and arms utilizing electrode stimulation of the muscles.     
Judy's family is so very grateful for all of the amazing support that they have received from our community. The visits, meals and financial support have really helped as we travel down the long road towards healing and recovery.  We appreciate your continued support so that we can get Judy walking again!
