Jakob was going away with his friends to albufeira the morning of the 4th June, but sadly on the evening of the 5th June Jakob was found unconscious and in a critical way, after falling from a balcony of the third floor of his apartment. Jakob is in a severe but stable condition in a Portuguese hospital but has life changing injuries which include a broken back and broken bones to both foot and ankle. Jakob’s insurance is void due to alcohol in his system so we are reaching out to try get Jakob home to the uk so he can get the surgery he needs and to be near family & friends as for the Portuguese hospital who have done nothing but leave him on a bed for the last 3 days and not even fixed his broken foot/ankle and more importantly surgery on his back, they have stated this could take months. So therefore let’s try get Jakob home, every £ counts no matter how little it is, we just need to get him on a flight with paramedics and get him home to the uk where he can undergo the surgery he needs
