Let's get Ian home

In July 2021, Ian Coughlan was a promising MMA fighter until a horrific injury during practice left him permanently paralyzed.

Since then, Ian has been transferred to multiple hospitals and rehabilitation centers as his home is inaccessible and has to be adapted to his needs. Ian has used the funds from previous fundraisers to help towards a cottage for him to live with his wife and two stepsons. However, this cottage still needs to be adapted for Ian’s needs, such as ramps, widened doors, a wet room etc.

With the shortage of builders in Ireland, the only quote Ian has received so far was for €173,000, and the Irish government will only cover €30,000 of this at most.

It has been more than a year since Ian was home with his family. With our support, we can get Ian to reunite with his family as soon as possible.
