Let’s get Henny home!

Hi there! Thank you so much for taking the time to read our story. This is Hendrix. He is the sweetest 1.5 year old pittie that loves nothing more than his human parents, his big brother, and his couch. He’s had a hard life for a young pup, but he is SUCH a fighter.

Unfortunately life had another curve ball to through at him. The past few days he’s been fight Leptospirosis. Lepto is a bacterial disease spread through the urine of infected animals, still water, or carcasses. It affects the kidneys and eventually the liver.

Hendrix is being treated with antibiotics - the main treatment - but, unfortunately, it’s not enough. He is needing g-tube placement for supplemented nutrition and, possibly, dialysis.

We have taken out as much as we can in loans and maxed out most of our credit cards. Any money donated will go directly to Hendrix’s care as we transition him from emergency care to internal medicine. ANY amount is so greatly appreciated to get this sweet boy home so he can heal and find himself again.
