Hi - Our “Southern Exposure” friends, Chris, Ken, Reba & Harley set off this fall for a long dreamed of journey to a warm winter in AZ, exploring trails along the way. Most of you know their travels came to a stop recently when Ken’s beloved Harley became critically ill with a bacteria causing Acute Clostridial Colitis.

Lucky for Harley they had access to a renowned veterinary hospital in S.D., The Sturgis Equine Center. His chances of survival have improved from barely 50/50 but his healing has been a roller coaster ride that has taken a toll on him, Ken & Chris, and all of us who are anxiously waiting for better news.

Most of us have experienced serious traumas with our beloved companions and know how medical expenses can get overwhelming. Chris & Ken, having big hearts for all animals, have been helpful when others have problems and I would like to help to relieve some of their burden. I’m setting this Go Fund Me account up with the expectation that expenses may roughly come to $5 to $8,000. We're all likely carrying extra financial burdens these days (who woulda thought $200 worth of groceries would fit in 2 little bags! ) but any kind thoughts or donation you could make to help get Harley out of this misery would be very appreciated!
