Let's get GUY a CAR so he can kick cancer's butt!

Hello,

My name is Megan and I am a friend of Guy's and fellow lymphoma cancer survivor! Here is a brief update:

Guy has been fighting Lymphoma for close to 18 years now. Four months ago, Guy started a new therapy called NK Cell Therapy. Although they are saying it's the future of cancer treatment, it failed to keep the cancer in remission. Options have become pretty limited, as he has tried just about every treatment they can think of over the last twenty years without success.

Over the last few days, Guy has been hospitalized due to the cancer progressing into his groin and leg. He was in a lot of pain and got a few rounds of heavy chemo treatment to buy him some time so he could figure out what the next steps were.

That brings us to the good news...his oncologist has found a new treatment at U of M that is having a lot of success. So on May 15th, he will be heading back to MN to start the new treatment/trial/study. The silver lining to this is that he will be able to spend some much-needed time with his daughter, Aida.

Now that Guy has established a place to live during his treatment, he is in desperate need of a vehicle to transport him from Jordan, where he will be staying, to the U of M for treatment and just overall finances while he is undergoing his treatment and not well enough to work.

We started this GoFundMe to help support Guy on this road to a better, cancer-free life and help get him to his treatments and be able to afford his basic living expenses!

Anything helps. And he is truly grateful because, without friends and family, he could not get the help he needs to recover from this terrible disease.
